Kuusamo
Kuusamo’s coat of arms has Northern Lights and a running reindeer. They symbolise the time when Kuusamo was the southernmost village of Lapland.

Oulanka National Park is located in the northern part of the municipality. The Park has rugged ravines, rapids and hills. There’s a vast network of routes for hiking, canoeing and motor sledging.
